Position: Tolerates drought and cold. Tolerates windy and salt laden windy positions, but avoid foredune situations too close to the beach. Works best in full sun to moderate shade.

Density: 4–6 plants per m², 2–3 per linear metre
Soil Type: Clay, Sandy loam, Light Clay
Where it Works: Southern NSW, SA, WA, TAS. Requires free draining soils or light to moderate shade in Sydney. Not suitable for QLD unless in areas like Toowoomba.
